At a time when you may be feeling sad and confused during this forced Sabbath, Chris Coli, Senior Pastor of Crosswinds Church in Livermore, CA brings an encouraging message of God’s love and grace. His inspiration, depth of knowledge, and humor will guide you on how to “live in the awareness” through the love of God. You matter, you are loved, and you are accepted. Hear and learn how to accept God’s gift of the sabbath, seek Him, be joyful, spend time with family, and keep it holy. Pastor Chris challenges you to find the half-full and choose the positive, “thou shall” side instead of “thou shalt not” in this season. When you do, you will be able to embrace this forced Sabbath as the gift the Sabbath was always meant to be.

The Deception of Fear is as Contagious as the Coronavirus

“God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind,” shares Pastor Dan De Leon, Senior Pastor of Temple Calvario in Santa Ana, CA, one of the largest bilingual churches in the US, with nearly 100 campuses in the US and Latin America. He has been a frequent guest of the White House and Capitol Hill, speaking on the moral climate and matters concerning the Hispanic community. He is the President and founder of HABBM (Hispanic Association of Bilingual/Bicultural Ministries), former host of the 700 Club in Spanish, and recipient of the Hispanic Leader of the Year Award. Pastor De Leon encourages us and other pastors to be in daily communication with God and our church families during this uncertain time, and that social distancing should not breed spiritual disconnect. Draw on the strength of your faith and remember that fear is the opposite of faith. Fear is your worst enemy and contagious, just like the virus. Trust in God, His love, and His Word to overcome fear and be an example to your family and friends. Be inspired by Pastor De Leon’s breakdown of Psalm 91…as he reminds us to be hopeful and strong in our Faith. FAITH is your power over the fear!
